Fused Glass Class Starts March 3

The Glass Warriors continue to make amazing art. The fact is that you, too, can make beautiful bowls, plates, and vases, along with night lights, light catchers, jewelry, and so much more. We have an active and vibrant group of artists doing lovely work while pushing ourselves and one another into all sorts of new and exciting niches of the glass world. A new Introduction to Fused Glass class will begin on Tuesday, March 3, 1oam-noon. The class will meet weekly for four weeks. The cost is $125, all supplies included. You can sign up here.

Empty Bowls 2026 Enters Home Stretch

In the studio, we are busy making bowls in support of this year's Empty Bowls fundraiser. If you want to support the Fannin County Family Crisis Center, an essential resource in our community, or if you want to try your hand at glass fusing or ceramics without having to commit to a class, this opportunity is tailor made for you. We will be making clay bows on Mondays 2-4pm and glass bowls on Thursdays 2-4pm. You can get your name on the list of volunteers by using the form on this page. Or you can just drop by the school and join in. You can also support Empty Bowls by contributing to the supplies necessary to make the bowls. Direct contributions are welcome. Windom Art School artists have also donated work to be sold in support of Empty Bowls. All proceeds of the sales are used to fund the Empty Bowls effort.

Role Playing Games for Youth

We are thrilled to be launching youth programs at the school. The first, a Dungeons & Dragons & TTRPG Community Group will begin on March 7. Learn D&D and other tabletop RPGs from the ground up in a safe, supervised environment while building creativity through cooperative storytelling. It's a fun, screen-free outlet for big imaginations, providing an opportunity to strengthen problem-solving and social skills while making new friends. Whether you’re curious, creative, or just love a good adventure, there’s a seat at the table for you. No experience necessary. Meeting times are:

  • Alternate Saturdays, starting March 7, 6:30pm

  • Every 2nd Monday, starting March 9, 6:30pm

The events are free of charge. Donations to cover the cost of the program are welcome.
